Geo-Drill aims to the develop novel and cost-effective drilling technology for geothermal applications. The Geo-Drill project is part of the low carbon energy call to develop next generation technologies for renewable electricity and heating/cooling. Particularly, reduce drilling costs through DTH hammer, to advance drill monitoring through low-cost and robust 3D printed sensors and to improve component life through advanced materials and coatings. The Geo-Drill consortium comprises of 12 partners across Europe. All the partners have complementary expertise necessary to develop, disseminate and exploit Geo-Drill project. The project Geo-Drill is funded under the EU’s H2020 programme, Grant agreement no 815319
